What we collect

Your writing entries and the feedback we generate for them.

Account information: email address and hashed password.

Usage data: streak counts, entry timestamps, and feature interactions.

Device and browser information for error tracking and performance.

How we use it

To deliver AI feedback on your entries.

To build and refine your Writing DNA profile.

To generate essays in your voice as part of paid features.

To maintain your streak and writing history.

We do not sell your data and we do not train shared AI models on your entries.

Entries are stored encrypted at rest in our database.

Writing DNA profiles are stored per-account and not shared.

We use Supabase for data storage and authentication.

Backups are retained for 30 days.

You can export all your entries at any time from your profile.

You can delete your account and associated data from settings.

You can request a full data export by emailing hello@inkling.app.

Deletion is permanent and processed within 30 days.

We use the Anthropic API to generate feedback. Your entries are sent to Anthropic under their processing terms.

We use Supabase for authentication and storage.

We do not use advertising networks or tracking pixels.
